John W. Slaby, 1934-2017
John Slaby was born September 23, 1934, in Ashland, Wisconsin. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School, he founded the firm in 1960 as a sole practitioner and, over 58 years of practice, expanded it to the multi-member firm that it is today. During his years of practice, he served as the District Attorney for Price County and as a State Representative in the Wisconsin Assembly. John and his wife raised their three daughters in Phillips, Wisconsin. John passed away on January 3, 2017.
